2012 was the first year JJ Churchill exhibited at Farnborough International Airshow, but any doubts as to the benefit of attending were soon shed with the level of interest our products, expansion plans and customer awards generated.
We were delighted to welcome the Prime Minister, David Cameron, to our stand (the only one he visited) and to have the opportunity to follow-up on our announcement of expansion into Mexico that was made as part of the PM’s recent State visit there (click for press article). The following day Minister of State for Business and Enterprise, Mark Prisk, visited us, taking the time to hear about the specific products that will be manufactured in Mexico and how our growth continues in the UK through investment in state-of-the-art machine tools and apprenticeship commitment.
Finally, a number of high-calibre business leads from targeted meetings demonstrated the importance of being able to showcase the company’s activities, rather than simply attending the show.
