CNC Setter/Operator - For Industrial - Temporary Contracts

Salary: Dependent on experience

Job summary/Key responsibilities
Principal Accountability: To set and operate a range of equipment within your specified department, commensurate with your skill grade in a safe and efficient manner. Maintaining the highest standards of quality, productivity and standard hour generation.

Previous experience

  • Experience within a similar manufacturing environment utilising a range of CNC machinery.

Person Profile
Essential Skills/Competencies

  • Experience of CNC machining (setter/operator - milling) in specified discipline(s)

  • Competent with using Siemens/FANUC controls

  • 3-5-axis milling

  • To work in a safe manner

  • Quality-focused

  • Good inter-personal skills.

  • Good team working skills

  • Knowledge of Tooling & Workholding techniques

  • CMM report evaluation (if applicable)

Education and/or qualifications (desirable)

  • NVQ Level 2 Business Improvement Techniques

  • CNC Programming

  • GCSE grade A to C in Maths/English/ Science

  • BTEC Mechanical Engineering
